Who is
Aryale
Aryale (pronounced Ariel) is a storyteller at heart, a multidisciplinary creative who loves to imagine, experiment, and infuse empathy at the core of her work. She moves fluidly between pre-production, development, and on-set, blending a background in psychology with a curiosity for people and ideas. Whether in the writer’s room or on-set as an AD or Director, she is challenging herself and those around her to dig deeper beyond the surface, explore new perspectives, and tell stories that resonate with the world today.
Her work is about more than just telling stories, it’s about creating experiences that shift paradigms, challenge how we see the world, spark emotion, and permeate, lingering long after the credits roll.

What’s on the Horizon?
-
I am originally from a small town in South Florida. Growing up in a Haitian American household, I always knew I wanted to be in the film-industry, telling stories, although that dream didn’t “fit” the shoes I was supposed to fill.
-
Everything in the world stems from imagination. Nothing comes out of nowhere and the only way to know how someone is feeling on the inside is through what they communicate outward. Filmmaking is my way of reflecting the insides of untold, original stories that deserve to be told.
-
I concurrently pursued a degree in both film and psychology, simply because I wanted to be a better writer and filmmaker. The only way to fully understand someone is to know what is going on in their head. Through developing my creative and scientific mediums, I efficiently apply two seemingly disciplines and sit at the intersection of both, applying principle and artistry.
-
I strive, above all else, to make other people feel understood, while also understanding more about myself too. Storytelling is about revealing and magnifying a vision and translating that to reality- I hope to do exactly that, whether in development with writing or on set.
